How could I forget my favorite TV Series on my favorite things post?
My husband and I have been hooked watching all 3 Seasons of Downton Abbey since Thanksgiving! Thanks to our new Smart TV we can access season 3 via the internet. You can watch Season 1 and 2 on Netflix’s and Hulu. Season 1, 2 and 3 of Downton Abbey are availiable via Simply June or Delishows. The 2011 Downton Abbey Christmas special is available via the internet links as well.
Everyone I know seems to have found it to be one of their new favorite shows too. The problem is Season 1 and 2 have aired here in the US on PBS but, not Season 3. It is suppose to start in January. I have never been so hooked to a TV show before and it is not uncommon for us to sit and watch at least 2 or 3 episodes in a night. Not sure if it is the time period it is set in or a fascination with English Culture? It is dramatic, funny, suspenseful and yet provides a historical account of a proper English family living in the early 1900′s. I love seeing the clothes change through the time periods.
If you haven’t watched it you definitely want to check it out and make sure you start at the beginning to follow the story.
