I prefer drinking out of glasses that are made of glass and I have found my preferred glass style is a Mason or Canning Jar Drinking Glasses with a handle. Drinking cups made of plastic usually end up smelling funny and I have found drinking out of clear glass just seems to be more appealing to me. We should all be drinking half our body weight in ounces of water each day to stay healthy so, it is important to find a glass that you like to drink out of. I have 5 kids though and that usually means one of their chores is to do the dishes which means dropped broken dishes.
We had been going through drinking glasses made of glass like crazy. I had a cupboard of mismatched drinking glasses and it was driving me a little crazy. I ordered Mason Canning Jar Glasses with a handle and I love them. They can still break and we have lost just a couple in the year that I’ve had them but, they have been more durable and not crack easily like my old drinking glasses. I love the handle on them to carry and the size makes them more easily handled by little hands as well. I have been tempted to order different types of lids and straws as well if I ever host a party or shower at my home. I think they would make a great gift for a wedding too!
